“For anyone who has been tempted by these retreats but not taken the plunge, I have one piece of advice – DO IT!!! You will NOT regret it. I attended the Santorini 2022 retreat last October. After attending Mandy’s face to face classes for quite some time (which are themselves amazing), I had heard from other ladies about previous retreats. My personal insecurities, lack of confidence & medical issues have dictated much of my adult life & held me back, so the thought of a holiday with a group of women who I hadn’t met or barely knew was WAY out of my comfort zone. Even up to the morning of the flight out to Santorini I was talking myself out of it!! It is not an exaggeration to say it has changed my life. From the moment I walked through the doors of the villa I instantly knew I had made the right decision. The vibe is laid back, there’s no pressure or feeling that you’re in competition with anyone, there’s no judgement – just a group of ladies from different walks of life, all with their own stories & demons, all shapes, sizes & ages. I was instantly at ease.What better way is there to start the day with a beautiful yoga class next to the stunning infinity pool with the sun rising? Followed by a delicious, wholesome (& plentiful!) breakfast sat around a big table getting to know a group of like-minded, interesting, kind, inspiring group of ladies. The activities & excursions are optional, I did them all!! And if it is your first time in Santorini they are a must. It is truly breathtaking. There was plenty of time to do your own thing if that is your choice. The meals in the local tavernas were delicious, the locals couldn’t be friendlier & the sunsets, well, just unreal. The evening yoga sessions left you floating off to bed, feeling so rested & grateful for the day that had passed. My only issue was it had to end 🙁. Mandy is so knowledgeable, can always adapt or modify things to suit you, so you never feel anything is beyond your capabilities. If Mandy & Santorini have taught me one thing it is, only by taking care of yourself can you take care of others. For me personally, that has been invaluable. It may have been my first retreat, but it won’t be my last 🙏.”

“Can’t recommend highly enough Mandys retreats and this was my 2nd time to Santorini and didn’t disappoint . Was so lovely to see other ladies from previous retreats also. The yoga sessions twice daily are always well instructed with blocks , bolsters and acu balls provided to get us into the poses with ease . “I have just experienced the Santorini Transformational Yoga Retreat with Dr Amanda Bowen and Jo Crowder.
I was a little nervous about going, not having been away ‘on my own’ before.
What a fabulous group of people with a shared interest in yoga. The hotel was ideal for a retreat and the vegetarian meals were delicious.
Mandy and Jo are both so knowledgeable and inspirational.
The sessions were a mix of Hatha, Yin and Chakra,/Meridian work. I attend weekly sessions of Yin with Mandy on the Wirral so I had previous knowledge of her teaching style. She is amazing and has brought about so many positive changes for me.
The atmosphere on this retreat was caring, supportive and encouraging.

The whole experience was wonderful!
Luxury and serene accommodation and location, well planned active flow and restorative yin yoga classes twice a day overlooking the beautiful gardens or on the terrace, gorgeous food, lovely pool area and relaxing Thai massages.
Trips to temples, monk’s houses, local restaurants, cafes up mountains, flower and umbrella markets and to meet and trek with elephants close up and personal plus more! Most importantly remote places without tourists.
Reliable transport all arranged and fabulous hosts that made sure everything was perfect.
It really was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on and absolutely the best yoga retreat. Amanda’s philosophy and passion for yoga and mindfulness will change your life. I would definitely recommend to everyone and as I love her teachings so much I’ve also attended Amanda’s retreats in Ibiza and Goa. Both Fantastic! She really does go the extra mile to ensure that you get the most out of your retreat experience, whilst also making a very good friend too! “

“Knowing Amanda (Mandy) for a while, and doing lots of her yoga classes. I decided to book onto the Chiang Mai yoga retreat. It was beyond my expectations. The place was amazing, the hosts treated us like family and nothing was too much trouble the place was spot on very peaceful and tranquil and took my breath away.
